At which age did you start creating art? And why do you feel compelled to create?
My father is a painter so I grew up in a house where art was ubiquitous in everyday life. My mother was a singer and did pottery and we had a kiln in our old house. My mom made all of our bowls and plates, the three of us painted all of the chairs in the house and my father built our table along with many other things around the house. I never even questioned the process of art making, it was always such a huge part of my life.

What are you inspired by? And who do you look up to?
I am inspired by, and I look up to my parents. I am also inspired by the little happenings in life, things gone unnoticed, oddities in nature...

Which influential artist would you like to ask for advice?
Hieronymus Bosch.
If you had to put up one piece of artwork on your wall and stare at it for a year, who would it be by and why?
Probably The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch. There is so much to take in.

Tell us about your creative process.
Well, with drawing and painting, most of it is governed by whims - I follow my eye, and work with mistakes. With photography, I guess I try to show other people the things and moments I see and appreciate. I love small pleasures.
