At which age did you start creating art? And why do you feel compelled to create?
I started when I was little and have a big wall mural to prove it, although I got quite a lot of trouble for it, its still there on the wall =). I just love creating I guess I always have, it makes me happy and i just lose track of time when i draw.
What are you inspired by? And who do you look up to?
a lot of music inspires me, the lyrics and the notes can create a whole world in my head.
Jan Svankmajer, I saw his stop motion movie Alice recently and loved it.
fashion shoots.
flower bombing.
old old fairytale illustrations.
dreams and Pastels.
If you had to put up one piece of artwork on your wall and stare at it for a year, who would it be by and why?
An illustration from the book The Princess and Curdie by George Macdonald illustrated by Charles Folkard. Its been my favorite picture for a very long time, i just love the feeling of it and the story with it.

As an artist, are you Technical or passionate? (Do you lose yourself in the work or do you make precise decisions?)
I guess I would say passionate. I never make a plan when drawing, I like to see where it will take me.
How do you determine when a work is finished? Or is it ever finished?
I guess I just go with what looks right .
Do you have any magic cures for creative blocks?
I go onto other projects like making dresses and jewelry.
Do you dream about your artwork?
I don't think I do, but I do like to draw the dreams I do remember.
Which of your own works are you most proud of/ is most meaningful to you and why?
I am most proud of my piece "You would fall, next to me" because its where I want to go in my art.

Which art mediums and brands do you prefer to use?
use a Mars Micro 0.3mm pacer and Alpha Artists Watercolours .
What kind of career do you ultimately want? And what kind of career do you think you'll end up having (or already have) realistically?
I think I would love to work at the Perth Mint, I did some work experience there when I was at school as a graphic designer and loved it. otherwise an astronaut. But I think I will go into jewelry design or the family business, publishing books on Australian history.

Is your family supportive of your art? Who influenced and nurtured your creativity most?
My Mother, she studied art and helped my sister and I with drawing and still always gives us advice.
Which direction do you see your art heading in the future?
I am trying to work on a bigger scale, use lighter colours and leave more space in my art.
Who are some of your heroes outside of the visual art stream?
many musicians and authors.
